IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

The soldier / football player motif was a common one during the first World War and for many years afterwards. This game took place just 2 days before the Armistice was signed, but among other examples we have are the 1924 Texas-Texas A&M game and the 1934 Idaho-Washington State contest.
