IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

Why Oklahoma Wasn't Unbeatable

Completing the neatest pair of bookends in the history of college football, Notre Dame launched the Sports Illustrated cover jinx by shutting down the "Why Oklahoma Is Unbeatable" Sooners before a stunned Statehood Day crowd in Norman. The last time that Oklahoma had lost, it was in 1953, in the same stadium, and with the Irish, then as now, doing the honors. And in 1974, you may remember, the Notre Dame basketball team performed a similar feat against the UCLA Bruins' 88 game winning streak.
