IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

Knowing a mortal lock when he saw one, Duke Law School student Richard Nixon took his future wife Pat Ryan out to Pasadena to watch the Blue Devils wrap up a perfect season against Southern Cal. But after not allowing a point for the entire year plus 59 minutes and 15 seconds of the Rose Bowl, the Devils' defense broke down, a fourth string Southern Cal quarterback named Doyle Nave threaded the secondary for eight straight completions and a 7-3 win, and both Nixon and the Blue Devils faced a long, grim ride back to Tobacco Road.
