IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

Since this game took place just 24 days after Pearl Harbor and the War Department was afraid of a possible Japanese air attack on such a prominent West Coast sporting event, the Rose Bowl for the one and only time was moved East, and rather conveniently to Durham. It wasn't enough for the Blue Devils, however, as for the second straight time an undefeated Duke team had its season ruined by the Pacific Coast League champions.
