IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. Santa Clara hasn't seen big time football since the school dropped the sport after the 1952 season, but up through the 1949 season, the Broncos had innumerable moments of glory. Their unbeaten 1937 entry, tied for ninth nationally with Notre Dame, was but one prime example, and for the second straight year the Californians capped their season with a Sugar Bowl win over the home state LSU Tigers. That was the ghost of Huey Long that you could hear spinning in his grave.
