For the past two years the Huskies had had their seasons spoiled at the hands of the California "Wonder Team," which in each case had handed Washington its only defeat. And going into this year's contest, the Golden Bears were a phenomenal 42-0-1 since their last defeat, at the hands of our own Huskies at the end of 1919.<br/><br/><br/> But on this day there was a second Wonder Team on the field, and when the dust had settled the two teams had fought to a standstill that they're still talking about wherever centenarians congregate.
