IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

Only a tie with Santa Clara preceded this Rose Bowl setback, and it took Alabama's finest team ever to deny the Indians an unbeaten season. Among the Crimson Tide standouts were All-American quarterback Dixie Howell, Sports Illustrated's "greatest player in NFL history" Don Hutson, and most memorably, the "other" end, a guy named Paul "Bear" Bryant.
