IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

For 64 years Big Thursday had been a state tradition, decreed by a state law to coincide with the annual October State Fair, a rivalry that had been uninterrupted since 1908. Many South Carolians swear that it left Mardi Gras in the dust. The decision to end it was likely caused by the wish on Clemson's part to get the home game in alternate years, but whatever the reason, this game was the end of an era.
